Startup Idea: Multi-user Drone Control App for Outdoor Recreation

Startup idea to develop a smartphone app that allows multiple users to control and pass off drone controls. Great application in outdoor recreation businesses for safety, location monitoring, and capturing video. The users should be able to conveniently take charge of a drone once it gets within their range.

I work in outdoor recreation (I own and run a rafting, hiking and guided snowshoe company).

I would love to see an app (that actually works) where that can successfully be passed off between other smartphone users to control drones while in the backcountry. I imagine an app where one guide or employee could be doing the drone flying to monitor the location of other groups and when the drone gets within range of the other group(s) the controls get passed off to another guide who has the same app so she/he can take control and fly the drone.

This would help with safety, monitoring for dangers, and recording video to give to clients, post trip.

Yes, I would pay for this app if it worked. I have not had success in finding an app which allow multiple flyers to pass off between them. currently I have three drones, sending one out with each guide on trips during the day.
