Startup idea to develop an easy-to-use, no-download-required software solution for financial services representatives that can instantly arrange appointments, facilitate multimedia presentations, and enable clients to fill out information directly on their screen during a call. This tool should make sharing information, consultation, and remote application processes as efficient as possible.

I work in financial services. Technology has helped us once we get in front of clients. Sometimes we can make sure that they are covered by life insurance within an hour. We can call people for referrals instantly. But the one thing we can't do is instant appointments. What if there was an easier way to meet with people online? Most of the time if you want to do a meeting like that you have to call them in advance. Then you have to get them to sit down at their computer with a webcam while you struggle to show them a power point. It seems like there could be an easier way to show someone multimedia. Maybe when you call them these things could automatically pop up on their smart phone. If you wanted them to see you in the camera, it shouldn't be that hard to use a smart phone to do that. It should be simple enough for a three year old to use with no downloads. People should be able to share their presentations that way. Then you could really share that information with them instantly. A great example of people who are already doing this are the tax people. You can fill out your tax information, which sometimes can be a lot. And the information is figured out very simply. If there was software that could pop up on someone's screen for them to fill out in the middle of a call without having to download anything, I think that that would make our job more efficient. And I would pay for that.
