Startup Idea: Automated Food Order Alert System for Restaurants

Startup idea to develop a software for restaurants or bars that automates the process of alerting customers when their food order is ready, freeing up staff time and increasing customer convenience.

I work in the restaurant/ bar industry. People order food at the counter but then have to wait to get it. We get their name and call it out. It would be great if there was software that could automate this a bit better. Whether it's a POS app or some other way to alert customers without there being a time suck for staff. Depending on the product, I would definitely pay for this software. It would free up staff time and also let customers get away without worrying about when their food will be ready.
