Startup Idea: Child-Friendly Messaging & Game Recommendation App for Autistic Children

Summary for idea #1029
Startup idea to develop a two-pronged app. The first feature allows young kids to send messages to pre-authorized contacts only, enhancing safety. The second feature works as a game recommendation tool for autistic children, which categorizes and rates games based on the real-world skills they can help improve.

I would love to have an app in which I could message my young kids and they could only message specific contacts.

Also, I'm a parent, patient and student advocate. I often work with autistic children and the parents of. There are countless video games of all skill levels and of all types (first person shooter, puzzle games, the list is endless, really) that can be used to help a child with autism on whatever real world skill they need to work on. Maybe they need help problem solving, or maybe it's coordination or they need to be desensitized to loud noises or sudden sounds. Most all games have the skills used listed on the packaging. I would give a vital organ for there to be software or an app that compiles those on one place and categorizes games according to such so I could be like, "Here, Mom. Look. The new Doom helps with reaction times and coordination. It says it right here. It's rated 4 stars for those things.".
