As a supervisor one of my jobs is tracking the progress of employees and administering discipline when needed if they are not meeting their standards. There are two supervisors and a manager on my current shift alone that can also administer discipline for not meeting standards. We have had several incidents where one supervisor administered discipline one day then another tried to administer discipline for the same thing on another day.

A solution that would help with this is a software program that can be updated by the supervisors and managers when someone is disciplined and for what infraction. This system would be updated daily and would give real time information about the discipline administered for each employee. This way we can eliminate the humiliating mistake of disciplining an employee twice for the same infraction when not deserved. This only makes our company look incompetent and disorganized.
