Startup Idea: Software Add-On to Improve Microsoft Word Efficiency

Startup idea to develop a user-friendly software add-on that simplifies updates, edits, formatting, and handling of page numbers in Microsoft Word documents, thereby considerably reducing the time spent and increasing efficiency for administrative professionals.

I work as an admin for a large finance company. I often need to make updates to contracts done in microsoft word. The problem is that these contracts often have complicated formatting. When trying to make changes, or clean up the contracts, it can be very difficult to maneuver around the embedded formatting. I spend hours working on what should be a fairly simple task. I have taken classes on word and watched many tutorials, however I still always come across issues I have a hard time solving. One issue I encounter often is page numbers. It should be a simple task to put page numbers how you want them in a document but this can actually be very complicated and time consuming. It is obvious that Microsoft has no intention if making Word more user friendly. If there was a software add on that was more user friendly, this could be very valuable to someone like me. It could save me hours of work, and save my company money because I wouldn't need to work as much overtime to make up for the hours wasted. I think software would be necessary because googeling the solution is not always effective. It pulls up too many similar scenarios, which are hardly ever exactly what applies to your own situation. I'm not sure how possible this would be, but it would be so helpful to me and many of my co-workers. no.
