Startup Idea: Development of Comprehensive Lien Notice and Release Software

Startup idea to develop an all-in-one software that manages California Preliminary Lien Notices and lien releases. The software should have features to save notices, generate, print, and store multiple types of lien releases using the original lien notices data, and file liens against jobs, ensuring all within a stringent time limit. Aimed to reduce manual data transfer, save time, and cater to the needs of construction companies.

We have a program that prepares California Preliminary Lien Notices. It is sorely lacking in features that would save time and money.

We need something that saves the Notices, and from that same notice, allow us to prepare lien releases with the correct information.

There are 4 releases that need to be stored in the database and made available from the preliminary notice information.

The information should be able to be pulled form the preliminary notice and printed on whichever of the 4 lien releases selected, creating a fresh copy of the release with the information on it.

There are several services that do this but you are transferring information back and forth and risk the preliminary notice no being filed within the time limit of 20 days from the start of the project. Also there is no available software that is any good.

We only paid a couple hundred for the very limited program we have which was made by a person in construction.

A good software program that takes care of everything would be very popular with construction companies. The program should also be able to file liens against jobs.
