Startup Idea: Simplified Resource Management and Tracking Tool

Startup idea to develop a user-friendly, web-based tool to manage and track resource assignments and task completion timelines in an IT environment. The tool should include features like time tracking, task delegation, and exportable reports about resource utilization.

I work for a very large IT company and as usual everything seems to be overly complex and written in SAP. I have a large team of technical resources that get assigned out to project managers for work. What I am lacking is a very simple to use tool (could even been web based) that allows me to track the time a resource assignment starts until the end but also have some delegation built in that allows myself and the engineer to adjust their assignment depending on how the work is going (finishing quicker/going to take longer).

Export capability would be useful in the form of ID, Name, Assignment ID, Start, End and Total Utilisation.

Thanks. There are tools out there but they are very expensive and too complex for what I believe a team leader needs. I would be willing to pay for something that didn't cost the earth but had everything I needed.
