Startup Idea: GPS-Operated Taxi Meter Startup Idea

Startup idea to create a software that would allow a taxi meter application to operate through GPS signal. The software would calculate taxi fares using GPS data instead of being directly tied to the vehicle's odometer. This provides flexibility for drivers who need to switch cars temporarily due to repairs or upgrades.

I work in the Taxi industry. And I don't think there is a taxi meter out there that can operate via GPS signal in order to calculate a Taxi fair. The current Taxi meters have to be connected directly to the motor in order for them to calculate the fair by distance. This becomes a hassle when you trying to upgrade your car. Or if you have to switch cars for a period of time, due to repairs or other concerns. If there can be a GPS operated taxi meter, in which you can just switch it from car to car with ease that would be great.
