Startup Idea: Adaptive Audio Recording Software for Journalism

Summary for idea #1191
Startup idea to develop an adaptive audio recording software designed specifically for journalists. The software would be capable of understanding the surroundings of the interview, whether it's outdoors or in an echoey room, and adjust the settings accordingly to ensure clear and crisp audio quality.

I am a journalist and constantly have to record my subjects for interviews. Aside from actually writing articles, I may spend up to two to three hours with a singular interviewee as I don't want to miss a word said.

Sadly, this takes up a lot of my time which makes getting to my midnight deadline harder and harder every week (especially being a student journalist and having to take classes inbetween articles). A lot of recorders don't pick up things based on the rooms I'm in, no matter how quiet the room may be.

I'd love for some sort of software to help better understand the room I'm interviewing a subject in. Whether the subject is outdoors or in an echoey room, I'd love a recorder that I could adjust the settings on in order to better adapt to the settings around my subject.
