I am a security analyst for Microsoft. I have worked for the company for several years. I am currently employed within a small group of the company that specifically looks at the counterfeiting of Microsoft intellectual property in Asia.

The majority of the information I research is in open source news articles, often times in foreign languages. It would be useful to have some sort of software that would allow me and my coworkers to effectively index these articles and make them searchable.

The Microsoft Access Database is similar to what I require, in that the program allows for relationships, tables, and common syntax to match data. However, Access is not intended for archiving news articles. I would like to have a program where I can create a sort of form that includes the following: [Subject] [Country] [Date] [URL] [Article]. I would then like to be able to conduct full searches against the above fields in order to make analytic conclusions. Additionally, it would be useful if this software was forging-language capable. I have tried. I found a program called MyInfo. However, it is vastly outdated and I am concerned about its security. I searched for terms like "free-form database" and "open source archiver". I have yet to find a solution.
