Startup Idea: 3D Printing Marketplace and Service Startup Idea

Startup idea to create an online marketplace dedicated to custom 3D printing items. The platform would allow users to upload their 3D design files, have people bid on the printing jobs or purchase ready-made items directly off the site. This could cater to a wide range of materials, including potential future metal printing.

I like to make boardgames and make my own custom figures. I would like to see is a service kinda like amazon or etsy just for custom 3d printer items. I can't afford a printer but I have used the software to make the items.

If there was a way to post your design and have people bid on them or complete the job for you. Or, you can buy a neat item off the site.

This can easy be expanded on to just 3d printing in general. With metal printing being a thing in the future. I think people will be buying custom items for something that broke. Custom screwdriver head, sewing needles, cellphone holder. I know a guy that charges an arm and a leg to use his 3d printer.
