Startup Idea: Smartphone App for Restaurant Suggestions

Startup idea to develop a geographic-based smartphone app that analyzes users' location and suggests local restaurants where they can eat. It can include a functionality where users spin a virtual wheel for fun food suggestions or narrow down the selections based on type of cuisine.

I have an excellent idea for a smartphone application.

Sometimes I have a difficult time figuring out what I want to eat or where I should go to eat it. Ideally, smartphone application should utilize your geographical location and find local restaurants around you that it can suggest you eat at. For example, this could be a fun application where you spin a wheel and it gives you a place to eat. Or if you know what type of food you want and can't decide on where to go, you can narrow the wheel down to that specific food type (i.e. Mexican).

The actual decision making part of picking a place to eat is the hardest thing about actually going somewhere to eat. Often times I will be with friends and we will ask "where should we go eat" and everybody says "i don't know, I'm fine with anything" which is incredibly unhelpful

Ideally, you would monetize this with Google ads or self-serving ads that users click on. These ads could be food ads, helping gauge your base even better.
