Startup Idea: Video Annotation Software for Sports Coaching

Summary for idea #1234
Startup idea to develop a robust and efficient video annotation tool that allows sports coaches, specifically rugby, to take text notes synced with match footage easily. The tool must be compatible with various video platforms, not just limited to YouTube, and provide sharing or exporting options.

I am a collegiate women's rugby coach. I really need a better video annotation software. Just something that would allow me to take notes while I watch match footage in plain text and then sync those notes with the match footage. Similar to how one is able to take notes synced to audio recordings with Microsoft OneNote but for video instead. Currently I use a Chrome App called VideoNot.es for this purpose-- but that project is a bit clunky and can obviously only be used via the chrome browser and only with videos on YouTube. If I could find something like that that could be used with, say, Windows MovieMaker or VLC-- well, frankly, coaching collegiate rugby doesn't pay much so I couldn't pay very much for it-- but I would pay something. For the right software, particularly if I only had to pay for it one time and not as a subscription service-- I might pay up to $60 for it. However it would have to have options to allow me to export or share my video with notes to others without the software.
