Startup Idea: Automated Scheduling System for Coffee Shops

Startup idea to develop an automated scheduling system for coffee shops. The system should take into account the number of employees, labor priority, availability, and total hours to fill to create an accurate schedule without conflicts.

I work in a major chain coffee shop, making and serving drinks to customers.

Our scheduling system seems extremely outdated - our managers have to write schedules manually, and there are frequently errors in scheduling, especially with regards to requested time off and availability (I nearly had to leave because of the number of times I was scheduled during classes!).

It would be quite nice if we had a system that could, given the number of employees, labor priority, availability, and total hours to fill, create a schedule without these problems.
