Startup Idea: Environmentally Conscious Lifestyle Tracker and Incentive App

Startup idea to develop an application that advocates for environmental sustainability by incentivizing recycling, encouraging the purchase of recyclable products, and promoting the use of energy-efficient modes of transport. The app will also track the user's environmental footprint and show how personal lifestyle changes can positively impact the world. A reward system will be integrated to motivate users.

I consider myself a bit of environmentalist. I do think software could definitely help to find alternatives and a solution for the industrial, oil-based, economic system, and making this world a better place. Software or apps could easily create incentives to recycle or purchase recyclable products. Could also be used in finding alternative methods of transportation that or more energy efficient, cost effective, and also less detrimental to the environment. A good doer app or software program that lets you track just how much your lifestyle effects the world, and track how your own personal lifestyle changes can make a difference. Again, there would need to be some kind of incentive or reward program associated with this.
