Startup Idea: Software for Accurate Till Management

Startup idea to develop software for department stores that monitors till transfers accurately by considering the weight of denominations. The software can alert staff if discrepancies are detected, reducing financial inaccuracies and business loss.

I am an Office Administrator in charge of monitoring the finances for a department store. Over the course of the four years I have worked for the company there have been many financial inaccuracies for the store.

Simply put the staff often miscount the contents of their till points. Software could help by registering the weight of the denominations to ensure that the correct amount of change enters/leaves the tills in a transaction to ensure accuracy and minimise business loss.

If the wrong amount of money is either entered or removed from the till the calculations could alert the staff member through the software on the till.
