I am an urban planner at a small city and the amount of documents that I have to sift through to review plans is really impacting productivity. There needs to be some software that allows planners to review plans on a large tablet style computer. This software would need to streamline customers' applications so we do not have to manually check each application for all the necessary documents. There should be a self-checking application software that also allows customers to submit site plans and drawings electronically. Filing and searching for documents takes up too much of my time. Electronically filing and searching would boost productivity and efficiency.
