Startup Idea: Paranormal Voice Detection Software

Startup idea to develop a software that can analyze audio recordings, detect and highlight Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) - voices from spirits or other paranormal entities. Features might include calibration for detecting softer voices and compatibility with existing audio softwares like WavePad.

I am a paranormal investigator. I record a lot of audio during investigations using a DVR.

Right now, I have to carefully listen to each second of my recording in order to hear if I picked up any Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP), basically spirits or other paranormal entities that have made vocal sounds.

It would be really helpful to have software that was able to pick these EVPs up and highlight them for me, so that I can just focus on listening to those parts.

I use WavePad to analyze my recordings.

There should also be a way to somehow calibrate the "hearing" of the software so it could pick up softer voices;

I can hear these during the recording but don't think there's actual software that currently exists to catch these softer voices.

I know there's not a big market for this, but it would really, really help people like me. If it worked well, I would definitely promote it to my friends who are also investigators. There's actually a niche market out there for something like this.
