Startup idea to develop an automated software that can extract specific information such as names of doctors, medicines, conditions etc. from PDF documents and format it in a desirable way. The software must ensure data confidentiality and offer flexibility in defining search terms. Significant for pharmaceutical companies to improve workflow efficiency.

I work for a pharmaceutical company. It is very taxing time wise to have to extract names of doctors, medicines, conditions etc from a pdf documents so that I can relay that information to other doctors. I would need a program that can scan the document for specific keywords and output them in a pre-formatted document. Of course, the whole thing would have to be confidential and would need to be modified based on the desired search terms. I would most definitely pay for software that could fill this particular need.
