Startup Idea: Self-Employment Earnings Tracker App

Summary for idea #1288
Startup idea to develop a personalized app for tracking a self-employed individual's various sources of income. It should keep a record of daily earnings from different outlets, help set and track income targets and provide periodic summary reports. It can also facilitate goal adjustment by giving projections based on monthly income trends.

I am self employed and have a goal to earn $100 a day, or $3000 a month. I currently get this money from doing a variety of things - selling self published books is about 80% of my income, but I also sell items on Etsy, try to earn $10 a day on Mturk, dog walk, sell audiobooks online, etc.

I currently keep track of my earnings each day by writing it in a planner. I would love a software or an app that starts with $3000 on the first of the month (or whatever number I set) and each day or each week I can update how much money I've earned on various outlets and it will add it up and congratulate me when I reach my daily income goal. It could also recalculate so when I've had a few $200 days, it will tell me how much money on average I need to earn per day to equal the monthly $3000 I need, or if I'm falling behind on my goal, how much money per day I should try to earn to make sure I reach my monthly goal.

It would ideally have different rows each day. One for books, etsy, mturk, etc, and I can fill in how much I've earned on each website each day. Then it could have running totals so I can see how much I've earned on Etsy all year, or in the past 90 days or whatever.

I would happily pay for an app on my phone that does this. No, currently I just write it down in a planner each day but then I have to add up my weekly and monthly totals to see how much money I've earned.
