Startup Idea: EMF Detection and Mapping Software
I am a former research scientist, who has recently become aware of the dangers associated with Electro-Magnetic Fields (EMFs), which are increasingly recognized as detrimental to human health. Much recent international attention has been given to the cancer-causing effects of cell phone radiation, and additional harmful effects have been shown to be associated with stray voltage from power lines, in-house wiring, power lines (above and below ground), bluetooth, and wifi. But these sources of radiation are invisible to the senses.
Therefore, a well-designed software solution could be created to enable a user to detect the different EMFs that surround us. The value of the software would be proportional to how comprehensive the measurements could be. In other words, if the software could detect all forms of EMFs, at all frequencies, provide a graphical representation of measured levels across the EMR spectrum, as well as a map of different EMF levels throughout a house, and report to the user the intensity of measured fields in relation to how these measured levels compare to recommended "safe" levels, this would be a marketable product. You could bundle this software with many of the growing list of mitigation product brands, such as Argonmesh, DAY-lITE, Q-Link, Hedron, etc., then you can rapidly reach a motivated consumer base.
