Startup Idea: Automated Testing Software for Chromatography Instruments

Startup idea to develop a software that automates test case execution and data acquisition for chromatography instruments. The software will also be capable of handling basic instrument troubleshooting and re-run the failed test cases, expediting the overall testing process.

I am a Software testing engineer in the field of chromatography. In our day to day testing activities we may need to execute test cases against chromatography instrument where we have to test the instrument behavior and performance against the software being developed.

We would like to have software that could make this work faster, as we could not able to automate the data acquisition being done by the instrument. If we could able to automate the system to run and get the report about certain instrument parameters will be helpful to complete the work faster.

Also, if would be nice if the software could automatically fix the basic instrument problems and re-run the test case, which will also help to complete the work faster, instead of waiting for person to fix the issue.
