Startup Idea: Watch Specifications and Tracking App for Jewelry Stores

Startup idea to develop an application that keeps track of the specifications and details of all the watches sold in a jewelry store. This would include brand, size, movement specifications and more, aimed at empowering both staff and customers, enhancing sales presentations and streamline watch repairs.

I work at a jewelry store, and we are often brought watches by customers that are in need of repair. In addition to this, we are often asked very specific questions about the watches by the more avid watch-enthusiasts that come into the store.

An idea that would help me with this work, would be for an app or program that keeps track of the watches that are sold in our store with regard to brand, size (of both cases and straps), and movement specifications (this is the internal part of a time piece).

This way, customers could very easily know which products and services meet their demands, and would provide a much better sales presentation, that would eliminate any guess work. It would also make the customers feel as if they are not being directed towards the most high end time pieces in the store (a feeling that is very often occurring.).
