Startup Idea: Export Compliance Software for Businesses

Startup idea to develop software that regularly gathers and compiles updated export compliance information for various locations. This will aid small businesses who lack regular access to regulatory experts and struggle to stay updated due to the changing rules in different countries.

At my job we are regularly designing products for customers for use in foreign countries. It is a challenge to know what regulations are in place for each individual country due to the constantly changing political climate and the customer's lack of knowledge of their own import rules. We are a small business and don't have access to high level regulatory experts. If there was a software program that could regularly gather and compile updated export compliance regulations for predesignated locations this would reduce our expenses for research and redesign. We typically use certain websites that can direct us to the information we need, but it's not always accurate or available.
