Startup Idea: Creditor Relations Management Tool
I work in a small team of six all doing the same job and reporting to one manager.
We handle creditor relations for our company which means on a daily basis each of us is probably dealing with a creditor issue/policy change for 20-100 different creditors. Our work is initiated either by questions coming internally from other departments or externally from incoming creditor calls, emails, and/or faxes. We may or may not update our creditor database with information obtained from conversations with creditors based on this work.
Often times we find out after the fact that we are working on the same issue simultaneously because of the multiple sources we get work from, and not always getting the same answer (depending on how questions are asked or talking to different reps at the same creditor company).
Currently for major creditor policy changes/issues we may remember to email each other details as an afterthought but due to the fast pace of our work there is often not time to do this. It would be helpful to have a plugin to our database/ session notes we take during research that would automatically alert the team (through email or a new platform) of any work done for creditors. This could also keep a running history for conversations we have had with each creditor. We email each other updates as we remember to do so.
