Startup Idea: User-Friendly Web-Based Database Platform Startup

Summary for idea #1498
Startup idea to create an intuitive, web-based relational database management application. The platform needs to simplify data collection via web forms, provide ease of use and flexible data manipulation, be platform agnostic, and price competitive. Eliminating the use of complex languages like PHP and constant CSV downloads for data format conversions is key.

The interaction of data and web forms is profoundly frustrating. Many people who manage databases need to collect this data through web forms, but they don't have the expertise to use php or other languages necessary to deal with this. It seems that if data is easily collected, it is not easily manipulated (and vice versa). An web-based relational database with great flexibility and ease of use that does not depend on php and is platform agnostic would be life-changing for people who manage information from a lot of people. Yes. I've tried using Filemaker Pro, but the cost is excessive and the hassle of dealing with servers and installations is excessive. I have looked into Airtable, but the flexibility and the necessity of using the app leave much to be desired.

Currently, I use Qualtrics and Filemaker. But the amount of time I spend downloading csv files and formatting data is excessive.
