Startup Idea: User-Friendly Web-Based Database Platform Startup
The interaction of data and web forms is profoundly frustrating. Many people who manage databases need to collect this data through web forms, but they don't have the expertise to use php or other languages necessary to deal with this. It seems that if data is easily collected, it is not easily manipulated (and vice versa). An web-based relational database with great flexibility and ease of use that does not depend on php and is platform agnostic would be life-changing for people who manage information from a lot of people. Yes. I've tried using Filemaker Pro, but the cost is excessive and the hassle of dealing with servers and installations is excessive. I have looked into Airtable, but the flexibility and the necessity of using the app leave much to be desired.
Currently, I use Qualtrics and Filemaker. But the amount of time I spend downloading csv files and formatting data is excessive.
