Startup Idea: Broadcast Industry Group Communication Software

Startup idea to develop a software solution primarily for the broadcasting industry, designed to streamline communication among producers, technicians, and other team. The software will allow the formation of specialised groups, voice and text chat functionality, keyboard shortcuts for quick group selection, and feature high-priority pop-up messages.

I am currently working in the broadcasting industry as a producer. When we are broadcasting all the communications is done through radio.

Usually the talent has a different channel to the technicians, producers and everyone on set. Everyone else usually shares the same radio frequency. A lot of the communication is therefore cluttered and can be sometimes difficult to understand and hard to decipher.

I propose a piece of software that lets producers and technicians form groups in the software. All messages should be able to be relayed via chat if it is non crucial. Voice com should be selectable via keyboard shortcuts for different type of groups which are determined by a producer. The chat software should be seen at all times.

High priority messages should appear as a pop up.
