Startup Idea: Wi-Fi Management Software for Small to Mid-Sized Businesses

Startup idea to create a unified, user-friendly system to manage Wi-Fi networks in small to mid-sized businesses. The system should allow easy sign-in and sign-out, track employee and guest access, provide activity logs, and ideally use fingerprint scanning for authentication.

I work as a project manager in a manufacturing facility that produces high-precision machined parts and also builds machinery for clients. One of the problems we have is that our wi-fi system is a mess, it's been cobbled together over the years and there's no unifying software to tie it all up. For the simplest things we need to ask the sysadmin for help, and since he's not there full-time, it means sometimes we're left with dealing with the problem ourselves. I would love a system that made it easy to sign-in and sign-out of the wi-fi easily, keep track of those who are employees and those who are guests, and provide logs of the activity throughout the day. Not like every website that the employees visit, but more like general usage. Now that most cellphones have fingerprint scanners, if we could sign in with that instead of a password that everyone has to remember, that would be fantastic. I have not, as it's not my area of expertise, however I know the company has looked into it and it would either take too much time to implement, or the solutions are for massive internet companies and are extremely expensive for a business like ours.
