Startup Idea: Customizable and Streamlined Audio Recording Tool

Startup idea to build a sophisticated yet user-friendly audio recording software for Macbook Pro that allows manipulation of audio using customizable plugins, making it easier for musicians to tailor sounds according to their needs.

I am a musician. I use a Macbook Pro to record music. The problem I find is that most audio recording programs aren't streamlined for use with plug-ins. Plug-ins meaning ways of manipulation the audio, more so than just with basic adjustments to volume, tone, etc. I would like a streamlined audio recording interface with customizable plug-ins.
