Startup Idea: File Management Software for Architects

Startup idea to develop a software that can efficiently manage file tracking for architects. The software should ease the process of sharing, editing and organizing drawing files and construction documents while minimizing confusion in file naming among team members.

I am a professional architect with more than twenty years of experience in creating drawings and construction documents for construction projects of many different building types. One of the most critical parts of communicating with team members such as engineers and other trade consultants is keeping track of filenames as the drawing database files are shared and sometimes edited and returned back to our office. Ideally there would be a simple program that keeps track of filenames so that they do not get confusing. Just by creating many different file folders to separate the drawing files being sent out, and those being received.
