Startup Idea: Woodworking Application Development

Startup idea to develop an all-in-one woodworking application. The app should be able to assist in measurements, types of cuts, joints and stains. It should include functionality such as cure timers, reminders, how-to videos, project annotations, and a section for free/paid project plans. Additionally, it may include a feature for users to document their project costs and timeline for sales purposes.

It would be nice to have some sort of woodworking application. Something that could help with measurements, angels of cuts, types of joints, types of stains, cure timers, reminders.

There are tons of things that would be helpful for a woodworker that it seems like an app would be very helpful.

Off the top of my head I can think of about 6 different types of joints.

It would be nice to have an app that could reference them and maybe even show a little video on how each is done and some times when they would be more helpful than other options.

There are times when I glue up a project and then try and remember what time the glue started drying. There could be some annotations for that.

Lastly this app might include some free/paid plans on how to make stuff.

You might even consider allowing users to take photos of items they made and enter the cost of material and time to make them. That way when it came time to sell the items this info would be easy to find.
