Startup Idea: Crime Statistics Tracking and Visualization Software

Startup idea to develop a software program that automates tracking of crime statistics and provides data visualization. The software should save annual data for comparison in subsequent years.

I work at a television station and it would be beneficial to have a program that tracks crime and provides statistics.

We keep track through Google documents and maps, but it would be so much easier to have a program track it for us.

The software should also be able to use the end of month and year stats to provide visual representation of the findings. It should also be able to save the information from one year so it can be compared to the next.
