Startup Idea: Lawn Care Management Software

Startup idea to develop software for small lawn care businesses that includes features such as a lawn size calculator, a bidding system, route optimization, and preferably a link with an accounting software or a built in one. This idea could also expand to other industries. The software should be accessible via mobile and computer, with a tracking app for companies with crews.

I own a small lawn care business. To make it more profitable it would be very helpful to have software that could do a couple of things.

1. A lawn size calculator that also had spaces for the height and weediness of the yard (like 100 x 100, with multiple measurements, low, medium high turf, extra weeds etc. and border feet that need weed eating) If you could measure with photos and some type of marker that would be awesome too 2.software that would generate e-bids (with your pre-selected values) based off of the above info
2. Route optimization software so you spend less time and fuel driving more time working
3. If it would link with accounting software that would be a plus or if it had its own built in accounting program

I believe that this cold probably be adapted to other industries as well. It would definitely need both mobile and computer software

Having a tracking app would also be beneficial to those companies that run crews.

I would buy this.
