Startup Idea: Real-Time Sales Information Mobile App

Startup idea to develop a mobile application that provides real-time sales information directly from a company's ERP. The app should support customizable dashboards that can be designed and emailed directly from the application, enhancing the ease of access and communication efficiency within a manufacturing firm's financial department.

I am in the accounting and finance department for a manufacturing firm. I am in charge of financial reporting and it it very time consuming to view daily sales information when away from my computer. This is especially true when on the production floor or warehouse.

It would be incredible useful to have a mobile app that I could refresh and view orders as they ship during the day by sales division and customers within the division. The application would need to have direct access to our ERP so that the information could be refreshed to see real time data. Further, this would be even more useful if I could create and design sales dashboard from the application to email to groups. This way I could easily send sales information to our sales managers when away from my computer or at any time of day.
