Startup Idea: Audio Description Feature for Vending Machines

Startup idea to develop a software that integrates an audio description feature into touchscreen vending machines. This audio assistance would guide visually impaired users by describing the items available for purchase.

Many of my blind clients have noticed that vending machines, including in the Downtown Pittsburgh United Way Building, have switched to touchscreen pads without braille. They are a step backwards for the blind in independence. If they could have an option for audio description of items for the blind it would be a blessing to many of the visually impaired that use that building.
