Startup Idea: Speech-Language Pathology Data Management Software

Startup idea to develop a HIPAA-compliant online software that aids speech-language pathologists in managing and tracking their clients' progress towards their goals. The program would offer features such as data visualization, predictions of goal achievement, and cross-client goal comparisons for the clinician's self-assessment.

I am a speech-language pathologist with 20-30 clients and I need to keep track of their progress toward goals that I write for them. I need a good way to keep track of their data from session to session. I need a program that can manage data toward all of their goals and display it in a way that will aid me in making decisions about what to improve.

Each client typically has 2-3 goals with 2-3 objectives per goal, and it is difficult to manage this. On paper it is hard to track, but if I could put in daily progress data to the program, and then see how they are doing compared to a week or a month ago, that would be perfect.

Ideally it would be a program that could be online and accessible from any device but still secure enough to meet HIPAA and other security requirements for personal information.

It would also be great if it made predictions about when they will meet a goal based on current progress.

It also should be able to compare goals across clients, so that I can compare my accuracy and effectiveness as a clinician, such as looking at the same goal with 2 different clients, and who made progress and who didn't, and help me find reasons why. I have tried to find programs but they are expensive or don't quite meet my needs. I've searched "SLP data software." There is already TalkTrac but I can't just purchase that for myself.

I don't have a solution right now. I'm just overwhelmed by keeping track.
