Startup Idea: Program Resource Manager
Summary for idea #1603
Startup idea to develop a software that enables users to suspend resource-intensive tasks and programs without entirely closing them thus preserving the work state. This functionality is similar to the hibernate feature or state-saving in virtual machines but without the associated system bloat.

I work in various computer task such as graphic design and others that often can require the use of many highly computer resource intensive programs. It would be very nice if their was an program that would allow me to quickly suspend the use of resources from a selected program until it is needed without completely closing the program and loosing work state. Similar to how a hibernate feature works or a virtual machine saves states it would be nice to do the same saving resources yet not requiring timely save and close relaunching of software to complete tasks. The closest is virtual machines that add their own system bloat.
