Startup Idea: Automated Messaging Software for Airbnb Hosts

Startup idea to develop an automated messaging software for Airbnb hosts. This software would respond to client messages in a timely manner to help increase the visibility of their listings and relieve the host from constant manual messaging. The platform would ideally offer intelligent response capabilities, but even a basic programmable response system would be useful.

I work in the hospitality industry as an assistant to my boss who rents out his residence on Airbnb and some other sites. I help with making and handling reservations as well as cleaning and maintaining the property.

In order to get the residence higher in the search results, Airbnb wants hosts to reply as fast as possible to all messages. This is very annoying as my boss and I are often interrupted and have to stay up late and wake up early just to reply to messages. As far as I know, there is no automatic messenger that is approved by Airbnb that we can use for this.

I would rather write the software to be honest. But if it was high quality, then my boss probably would.

This software could help reduce the time that my boss and I have to spend on managing messages and reduce our stress on dealing with trivial questions that interrupt our daily activities. Ideally the software would be able to respond in an intelligent way to the specific client. However, just having a basic program that can make the client satisfied while allowing us breathing room to reply in more detail would be good for us.
