Startup Idea: Software Solution for Secure, Efficient Ticket Acquisition

Startup idea to develop a secure and streamlined process for ticket brokers. The software should be able to acquire tickets based on the event's selling rate, include features for team collaboration, and securely manage payment information to mitigate the pitfalls of overseas transactions.

I have been a ticket broker for a number of years. When I first got into the business, electronic ticket bots were legal to use for the purpose of obtaining event tickets. Contrary to popular belief, these programs did not "jump the lines". It was just a matter of having multiple IP addresses pull tickets at the same time. I would be the same as having 100 workers from different locations pulling tickets for me. I was able to do it from the convenience of my home.

Unfortunately, with the recent legislation of those programs being illegal, I had to scale down my business tremendously, relying on part time ticket work and part time other independent contract work.

A solution to this problem would be to have workers sourced overseas who could pull tickets for me, which would keep costs down. Unfortunately, they would need credit card info from me which I am uncomfortable to produce. Additionally, overseas transactions tend to take a much longer time to process, with machines being much slower in places like India.

I would like to see a more streamlined process without the use of illegal software and without the hassle of other people making purchase for me. Mistakes happen, etc, and getting in touch with overseas people is often quite difficult, especially during a very hectic ticket onsale.

Thus far, I have found no solution for this problem. I have tried finding different people to search for tickets for me, but dealing with many people via text/IM/ and phone is too confusing. Buying tickets is never a sure thing, so I gauge my ticket purchases on how the event is selling. It would be nicer if everyone could teleconference at once, but I have not found a way to get around giving credit card numbers to people. I do not like doing that, but I cannot expect them to lay their own money out and wait for me to pay them back.
