Startup Idea: E-Book Organizing Software

Startup idea to develop a software that can neatly organize e-books in a collection by sorting them according to various metadata attributes such as author, publisher, genre/topic and more. Significant potential for businesses and hobbyists who deal with large e-book collections.

As a hobbyist in several fields with a significant amount of literature (history, programming & game design, firearms), I have a very large collection of e-books on this, generally in PDF format. However, my collection is extremely disorganized.

A piece of software that can sort e-books based on metadata (incl. author, publisher, genre/topic, etc.) would go a very long way towards making my life much easier. I am sure that there are businesses and other hobbyists that would appreciate and pay for this product as well.
