Startup Idea: Software for Streamlining Machine Shop Sale Data Management

Startup idea to develop an intelligent software that streamlines data management problems for Inside Sales Representatives at a machine shop. The software should automate maintenance of reports, customer contacts, quote entry, quote win/loss, and sales dollars. Additionally, the software should facilitate analysis of reasons behind unsuccessful quotes to aid better business decisions.

I work as an Inside Sales Rep for machine shop. The biggest pain for me is maintaining data. A lot of our reports are generated by software already, but a lot of manual entry is required to keep them up to date. Things like customer contacts, quote entry, quote win/loss and sales dollars are a few of the things that plague me. Along with maintaining it would be nice if there was an easier way to go through the data and track why we didn't win our quotes. This way we could make better business decisions in the future. I would pay for software to complete these tasks for me as it would make us more efficient.
