Startup idea to develop a software tool tailored for programmers that sends prompts and reminders on best coding practices, code simplicity and readability. The tool aims to keep programmers focused, efficient, prevent mistakes and enhance code quality. It would have adjustable settings as per individual or team requirements.

I work in the programming industry. I wouldn't mind a bit of software that told me to stop coding and just consider what I'm doing. It could switch between "make sure the code is readable by your coworkers" to "make sure it is simple and exactly what your clients need." A small reminder to keep me on track and stop going off on a tangent would be nice. I would like to be able to set these settings. I could get my boss to pay for it. It might save me from certain mistakes.
