Startup Idea: 3D Laser Projection of Construction Blueprints

I work as a commercial construction plumber/ pipefitter. I have been wanting to see if there is a way to transmit construction blueprints through a three dimensional transit type laser. Picture a laser transit hanging in the air about 25' or so and this transit would produce a three dimensional plan projected so the workers could see what was being built before it is actually built.

I believe with today's technology this could be done. This would almost eliminate any mistakes made by the everyday worker and also speed the construction process up significantly. I know there are already several "AutoCAD" type programs out there and I could see how one of these programs could adapt to this type of platform.
