Startup Idea: Independent Contractor IT Management Software

Startup idea to develop a software that assists independent IT contractors in managing their increasing workload. The software should track contracts, facilitate billing and scheduling, and manage contacts, pulling inputs from various third-party job linking sites. Ideally, it should automatically update these inputs and provide notifications on upcoming jobs or late payments.

I am an independent contractor in the IT field and my workload has increased dramatically over the past two years. Initially I didn't have much trouble keeping track of all of my contracts but as of late it has become overwhelming.

Whether it's billing, scheduling, or just keeping in touch with all of my contacts there is a crazy amount of information to keep track of. I would love to see some software that could keep track of the information that I accrue while using various third party sites that link me with new jobs.

Using a basic spreadsheet has helped, but it would amazing to have something that automatically updated itself and gave me notifications when jobs were coming up or if payments are late all in one place. I have. There are a few basic scheduling apps, but the amount of time spent entering in the information almost makes me waste a large amount of time.
