Startup Idea: Real-Time Retail Scheduling Application

Startup idea to develop a real-time scheduling app for retail work, offering instant updates of schedule changes and providing the feature for employees to accept or reject such changes, eliminating miscommunication and boosting efficiency.

I do a lot of work in retail and I think my biggest pain point currently is impromptu scheduling. To go into more detail I have had numerous instances where my supervisors have changed my schedule without my consent or knowledge. This has caused me to miss days of work, wages, and even disrupted my work days.

If there could be a application designed to keep a real time update of my work schedule that notifies me of any changes. In fact what would make that even better is when and if those changes happen I can accept of reject them. This way my supervisors will know 100% whether I can cover last minute shift changes or not.

I think the app would be great for employers and employees alike. It would make scheduling more dynamic and efficient. In addition to completely removing the headache that is miscommunication. I have been a manager and a entry level employee. It's not easy on either side and I am confident an application like this would solve a legion of problems. Absolutely there is nothing on the market that does this. In fact I don't even think the idea has been thought of yet. To currently remedy my issue I have to speak to multiple supervisors throughout the week to ensure my scheduling doesn't drastically change. It's a real headache.
