Startup Idea: Startup Idea: Pizza Delivery Employee Time and Distance Tracker

Startup idea to develop a system to accurately track the hours and mileage of pizza delivery drivers. The program will use fingerprint technology and GPS to manage clock-ins/outs, compute high/low hourly rates based on in-store or out-for-delivery status, and calculate pay per mile driven. This system aims to provide fairer and more accurate compensation for drivers.

I work as a delivery driver for a pizza company. The base pay for employees who drive is $6/hourly. My manager said there is no way we can get better pay because its too hard to track when employees are in and out of the store. Well we already clock in by our fingerprints so I figured if we can clock out with our fingerprint when we leave the store to go out on a delivery and clock back in when we get back, a computer program can count how many hours we are out on the road for a delivery (so we can get lower pay) and clock us in when we get back so we can get better pay because we are in store and doing more work. So what I'm getting at is we need a system to keep track of all the drivers, calculate how far we drive by using a GPS and map so we can get paid per mile we drive, calculate a higher hourly rate while we are in the store and calculate a lower hourly rate while we are gone on a delivery so our pay can be more accurate so we don't just guess that $6 an hour is good enough and keep our tips.
