Startup Idea: Attraction Capacity Management Software for Amusement Parks

Startup idea to develop software that can accurately count and track the number of people entering each attraction in a theme park per group, helping to optimize capacity management and reduce wait times.

I work in the entertainment, amusement (theme park) industry. When allowing people to enter attractions, sometimes we struggle to get the maximum amount through that can enter a ride, due to manually counting those going through per ride. We could use turnstiles, but the software right now is programmed to count the total number that go through each day, not the number going through per group. An issue that happens is that we let too many people through, and parents get upset that they have to wait for the next attraction. It happens nearly every peak day or holiday, and on weekends during the summer. This last happened last week. The only thing we do to solve this issue, is intentionally let the less than optimal amount of people through. The solution isn't a very effective one. I'm not sure the brand of turnstiles used.
