Startup Idea: Motivational Job Search Planner App

Startup idea to develop an interactive software program integrating scheduling and planner functions with motivational elements. The highlights are daily objectives, motivational messages, visual & audio relaxation triggers. This app aims to support those in the job search phase, especially those facing long-term unemployment.

I teach college students how to gain entry-level jobs in the helping professions. We are finishing our course on how to prepare oneself in case a full-time job doesn't happen right away. My biggest concern is encouraging students to stay motivated through the job search, especially if they have been unemployed for a while.

A good software program might be able to integrate scheduling/planner functions with motivational messages displayed on screen if a user completes a day's worth of objectives. The motivational message could be paired with appropriate color or soft-playing music, or maybe encourage the user to meditate or relax before ending their day's work searching for jobs.

I have seen Flash technology used for guiding web viewers through meditation. That technology could be bundled into an app.
