Startup Idea: Escape Room Scheduling and Employee Notification System

Startup idea to develop a software that improves scheduling and notifications for 'on-call' businesses, specifically for an escape room company. The software should send text messages or notifications to facilitators when they are assigned to work. It should also track employee hours for efficient resource management, keeping track of everyone's availability and even distribution of work hours.

The booking software that we use at my work is absolutely terrible. While it works well on the customer end, the scheduling portion of it is awful. We are an escape room company that relies on Bookeo for scheduling our customer's appointments. From our end, the booking can then be assigned a facilitator (employee).

Without checking the schedule every half hour to forty five minutes, it is impossible for the facilitators to know when they are being called into work.

While we are an "on-call" business, and know that we aren't going to get a lot of notice for when we are put on the schedule, it would be AMAZING if there were a software that sent out a text or message somehow to let you know that you need to come to work.

In addition to that, it would be wonderful to be able to track employee hours with this system, so the manager can quickly and easily see how to spread out hours to keep everyone even (and within their availability) rather than having to look up timesheets and talk to everyone.
